Important Information Regarding COVID-19 Precautions On Campus - Nov. 9
The health and wellbeing of our community continues to be our top priority. Effective Tuesday, November 10, masks will be required in all classrooms and must continue to be worn at all times including during labs and in all public places on campus. Additionally, we request that students socially distance while unmasked and remain no closer than six feet apart. During lunch and other gatherings where individuals are unmasked, there should only be one individual per table.
The College feels these requirements are necessary due to an increase in positive cases in Douglas County, which is now reporting a 29.6% positivity rate. The College has consistently remained under a 1% positivity rate. Although we saw an increase last week and are now at a 2.5% positivity rate for on campus students, we want to continue our due diligence to maintain a safe campus. You can view updates regarding our numbers on our COVID-19 resources page.
